Preface

This document outlines the exercises for the Nexus Dashboard Insights (NDI) Practice Lab.

Audience

Designed for Cisco Live attendees, this document serves those participating in the ACI Nexus Dashboard Insights from Zero to Hero (LTRDCN-2258).

Scope

The purpose of this document is to direct Cisco Live attendees through the ACI Nexus Dashboard Insights from Zero to Hero (LTRDCN-2258).

Learning Objectives

By completing this lab, participants will:

  • Gain familiarity with the Cisco Nexus Dashboard Insights (NDI) application.
  • Identify anomalies within their applications.
  • Utilize NDI as a tool for troubleshooting, monitoring, and flow analysis.
  • Employ NDI to assure their infrastructure and application performance.

Nexus Dashboard Insights (NDI) is a GUI-based external Data Center operations application. It operates as a service atop the Nexus Dashboard, a cluster composed of either physical or virtual nodes dedicated to hosting these services. During this lab, attendees will use NDI for analytics of the ACI infrastructure, aiding administrators in daily tasks and those specific to the current undertaking, such as troubleshooting, monitoring, auditing, and planning.

Throughout this lab, Slido will be employed to track your progress through the use-cases. Please scan the QR code to participate.

Disclaimer

This training document introduces NDI within a physical ACI environment. While the lab emphasizes the NDI application and initially explains the prerequisites established beforehand, it is important to note that the lab's design and configuration examples may serve as a reference point but do not necessarily utilize all recommended features or optimal configurations. For design-related inquiries, please reach out to your Cisco representative or a Cisco partner.
